Avengers 3: Infinity War Free movie page imdb. This was an okay movie in my opinion. The cast on the other hand was top notch! There was a crazy amount of talent in this movie and i enjoyed seeing all these stars on the same screen! However is anyone else kind of bothered how Scott/Ant-Man was portrayed in this movie? He was treated like the dumb little 10 yr old that would keep asking why? after every line of dialogue that seemed to complicated for him to wrap his brain around. Then Pym and Wasp would put it in layman's terms for him to understand, then Scott would blurt out some dumb one-liner. (Bit of an exaggeration but i didn't know how else to get my point across. SPOILERS (Ant-Man & The Wasp. Avengers: Infinity War. I also felt this movie was primarily about Wasp and her debut as well as her quest to rescue her mom and patch things over with her dad, and Scott waltzed his way into a situation where hes not welcomed (at first. Definitely not the best story in the MCU in my opinion and I think this movie would have been better marketed as a standalone Wasp movie instead of being Ant-Man 2. The best part of the movie was the post credits scene, it was worth sitting for two hours just for that little Infinity War tie-in and the introduction to the quantum realm. I am a big Doctor Strange fan so i'm just baffled that Ant-Man now has 2 movies and Doc has only 1 with some lame cameo in Thor: Ragnarok. I'm glad he played a bigger role in Infinity War and the fight he has with the Thanos is ONE of the best fights IF NOT THE BEST fight in the entire MCU. I also feel like he is the most underutilized Avenger in the entire lineup, Ant-Man falls under that category too. Both have very unique abilities that make them really standout when next to Iron-Man or Black Panther. One has the access to the quantum realm and the other has access to literally everything in the multiverse. (As i was typing this post, an article talking about Doctor Strange 2 was released basically confirming it for a 2020 release) Talk about a strange coincidence. I'm not here to troll, just a comic book/movie nerd that likes to have civil discussions about works of fiction. It has over 20 major characters and only 149 minutes to fit them all into a cohesive story, but somehow Anthony and Joe Russo (along with screenwriters Stephen McFeely and Christopher Markus) managed to not only make it a good comic-book film, but one of the very best. The fact that it brings together multiple different franchises is a groundbreaking achievement in its own right, but the film actually accomplishes more than that. It's a film that's not afraid to take risks, one that takes audience expectations and completely smashes them, delivering something that stands out from the rest. The majority of characters are well balanced (apart from Steve Rogers, in my opinion) and the pacing never drags, aside from a couple of side-plots being slightly too long. The film also has a good handle on tone; it knows when to be funny, but never loses its sense of drama and fully delivers on its most serious moments. The action scenes (while mostly GCI driven) are all exciting and grand in scale, and the score by Alan Silvestri is one of his best in years. On top of all that, the film is always fun and has its fair share of epic goosebump-inducing moments. The ending of the film initially felt disappointing, but reflecting upon it made me realise that it was actually perfect and one of the things that makes the film so great. It's not the best film of the MCU, but the way in which it takes real risks and offers a genuinely unique experience elevates it to be one of the very best in its genre. 9/10.
